Featuring the Art of Anatoliy Khmara and Marilyn Greenfield
Anatoliy Khmara, at the age of five, entered the studio of Visual Art for Gifted Children in Kyiv, and went on to earn his Masters in Fine Arts at the Fedorov Institute of Art and Graphic Design in Kyiv, Ukraine. His art is featured in public and private collections throughout the world.
Marilyn Greenfield: "My inspiration comes primarily from mindfully observing the natural world. In my efforts to invoke Nature’s energy into my pots, I often layer various glazes and slips and use a sgraffito technique to enrich the surfaces with nature’s images. Another source of my inspiration is the traditional Japanese and Chinese aesthetic."
